'Yoga is the practice of quieting the mind' - Patanjali : |
The word ‘yoga' brings to mind an image of an acrobat-like individual in arm and leg twisting postures. But yoga is much more than that; it is a way of life, the ultimate aim of which is emancipation, that is, freedom from continued reincarnation. It is a system of contemplation resulting in the union of the human soul with the Supreme Being. It involves the practise of yoga poses, meditation, chanting and breathing techniques.
Yoga not only aids in enlightenment but also in the development of mind, body and spirit. In other words, it is the “yoking” of the individual human consciousness to the superconsciousness. Practising yoga realigns ones spirit, builds strength and increases flexibility. |
| About Fitness |
 |
Fitness constitutes a light approach, effective, pleasant, and fun activities to slow down and prevent aspects connected to common metabolic diseases.
The main objectives are:
To slow down the aging process from unhealthy habits: smoking, over-eating, laziness, and stress
To give different rules to follow for the most common metabolic pathologies
To have a light and non-medical approach: a "health medication" not pharmacological, manageable and efficient, believable, pleasant, and, why not, even fun.
A balanced diet must contain carbohydrate, protein, fat, vitamins, mineral salts and fibre. It must contain these things in the correct proportions.
